Ok, I seem to get the hang of it. The concept of deliverables is very powerful: Any process, phase or project wants to get completed. How? By producing (agreed upon) „deliverables“. What shape can that take? A product (tangible, real world), result (intangible but standalone) or capability (intangible and connected). What quality can that be? Not just any type of quality, of course. But of „verifiable“ quality, i.e. against some kind of spec, I assume („verifyable“). Or at least against the expectations of the relevant authority („accepted (by XYZ) as completely and finally delivered“). Right?
Yes, you are right…. And the more you progress in the topics of the PMBOK Guide, the more the picture gets clearer and clearer…
